Look after your easypod™ for optimal performance
Your easypod™ is a precision device and it should be handled with great care. You should always store it in its original storage box in the front section of the refrigerator at 2‑8°C/36‑46°F. If your refrigerator is particularly cold you should leave easypod™ standing at room temperature for several minutes before turning it on.
If easypod™ is dropped, speak with your doctor.
Keep it clean
Wipe away any dirt with a clean cloth.
Turning easypod™ on and off
To turn easypod™ on or off you should press the right select button in for about 2 seconds.
Attaching the needle
After removing the sterility seal, insert the open end of the needle cap straight into the needle cavity until it clicks into place. Insertion should be carried out in one swift upwards movement. Do not hold on to the needle cap during this process.
Removing the needle cap
After attaching the needle or when you are removing it, bend the needle cap sideways to release it from the needle cavity.
Opening the cartridge door
Open the cartridge door by sliding the button on the left side of easypod™ upwards. Do not force the door open.
Get your timing right
Make sure you hold easypod™ still throughout your injection. If you see a drop of growth hormone on your skin when you remove the device, set a slower injection speed. If the drop is persistent, gradually increase the injection time setting. Ask your doctor or nurse for help if you are not sure how to do this.

You can alter the injection and needle speeds to make sure that your easypod™ is set up to make daily injections comfortable for you.
Comfortable injections

From the base view screen press the middle button to enter the menu, then:
1) press the middle button 4 times to scroll down
2) press the left button once to enter device settings
3) press the middle button 4 times to scroll down
4) press the left button once to enter language
